Same product, different label.

I've been using this product for years and it has done a wonderful job raising my levels of Vitamin D per laboratory testing. Recently, Biotics Research made the questionable decision to change their familiar label at the same time changing from widely recognized IU to MCG. I have no idea why they did this and some people are upset by the change, however 2000 IU is the same as 50 mcg. I put the drops side by side. They look identical and taste identical as far as I could tell. I've been taking it for years and nothing seemed amiss in the taste to me. As far as not it is only 250% RDA rather than the former 500% RDA, I can only assume that is a change of recommended dosage by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and not necessarily a decision controlled by Biotics Research? My main concern is that in the confusion of all these simultaneous changes, someone would take more drops than recommended and wind up with Vitamin D toxicity. Hopefully that doesn't happen. I will continue to use this product and follow up with blood tests to be sure it's still keeping my levels in the range I would like because it's been more effective than any other D supplement I've tried.

This Works!

I am a Health & Wellness Coach. I've been using and recommending this Vit. D for years. I know from personal experience that this is the best out there. Years ago, I had some blood tests done and my D came back low. Of course, the doctor recommended a very processed D for me to take. I told him I have my own and won't take any other. I took my D - one drop a day on the finger - and in less than 2 weeks my D was perfect. This does need to be refrigerated and doesn't work past the expiration date very long. I hope Amazon will always carry this! The only thing I find frustrating is that they don't list an expiration date.

Great product. Keeps my Vit

Great product. Keeps my Vit. D intake at optimal levels as a two-time cancer survivor. Forget other brands and capsules/caplets. This is by far the best Vit D3 supplement. I’ve used for five years. I have labs frequently (25 + times yearly) and always optimal levels are reported. Stays fresh, easy to use, can adjust dosage from summer to winter by adding 2-3 extra drops. Body absorbs instantly with maximum effectiveness. Biotics Research is an amazing company with customer pride.

50 mcg is equal to 2000 mg of Vitamin D on new packaging

I was concerned about the new packaging and that it doesn't say how many milligrams of Vitamin D are in each drop. The company changed it to 50 mcg. I called the manufacturer and they said that 50 mcg is equivalent to 2000 mg per drop. They also said that they changed the packaging appearance. So I am glad I called them to get the answer. I'm not sure why they made these changes but the product tastes the same as the old one.

Better than tabs

I was able to get my vitamin D deficiency under control with these by adjusting the amount of drops according to what my lab tests said. Easier and cheaper than tabs
